A play at home (or any-where suitable) game, similar to an Escape room but instead of escaping you are trying to open the treasure Chest.
There are 3 G-Wiz Pirate Treasure Hunts which are all designed to be a fun way of working together as a team to solve a series of clues / puzzles / challenges to try and unlock the final treasure chest and find the treasure.
You hire the wooden boxes to 'play' in your own home (or any-where suitable) - For each treasure hunt you get a large main box containing the puzzles, a treasure chest for the treasure and an instruction book which also has the first clue to open the main box (and helpful hints)
It is not easy to describe what is involved (without giving away the answers) and not easy to judge how easy / hard things are to solve as every one is different and what I think is hard some people find easy and vice versa BUT...
...All of the treasure hunts have hints if you get stuck - it is up to you to decide when / if you use them - usually each challenge / puzzle has 3 or 4 increasingly helpful hints with the final hint explaining and giving the answer.
All of the treasure hunts need a bit of space to spread things out on - ideally a large table but the living room floor or any sensible space is fine too.
Any number of people can take part - 2 heads are better than 1 and I presume 12 are better than 11 etc etc !! - However, as the number of participants increases, while every-one can help with thinking, discussing and suggesting solutions there will be more sharing required of getting hands on with the puzzles / challenges. - I have put a rough guide to an ideal group size for each treasure hunt but you do not need to stick to it.
